Ahern and Blair to hold talks tomorrow

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, will hold talks with British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London tomorrow to discuss the latest crisis facing the Irish peace process.

Another deadline is looming this weekend after the Northern Secretary’s decision to suspend the Assembly for one day six weeks ago failed to bring agreement on the main issues of policing, demilitarisation and decommissioning.
