Man struck by car and killed in Longford

A 20-year old man has been knocked down and killed near Longford.

Gardai say the man was returning home from a night out when he was struck at Farnagh.

It was the fourth death on Irish roads overnight.

Two men died in Dublin when their car struck a double decker bus, and a woman died when her car collided with a wall about three miles outside Tullamore.
