Gardai investigate another Limerick murder
Another murder investigation is underway in Limerick City tonight after two violent attacks left one man dead and another in a critical condition.
Eighteen-year-old Eric Leamy from St Munchin's St, St Mary's Park was found with stab wounds in Lee Estate at 12.30am.
He was rushed to the Midwestern Regional Hospital where he died at 9.30am.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Edwards, 18, from the Corbally area was attacked and beaten with an iron bar in an apparent revenge attack.
The teenager is on life support at Cork University Hospital.
