Dublin gardai pull off major drugs seizure

Gardai in Dublin have seized a large quantity of drugs with an estimated street value of £250,000 in an early morning raid.

Detectives from Swords were involved in the seizure at the house in Walkinstown around 7am.

The haul included ecstasy, cocaine and heroin, which was hidden under floorboards.

A Dublin man in his twenties has been arrested and is being held at Swords Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
