The two Irishmen who alleged masterminded a shares scam in Thailand have surrendered to police.

John Kealy and Ronan Murray have been charged with unlicensed trading of securities, fraud and working in Thailand without an official permit.

The pair, who are both in their 30s, allegedly ran illegal stock-trading companies which sold shares in non-existent companies to investors in Australia, New Zealand, Spain and South-East Asia.
