Man found with head injuries on Dublin street

A man in his 50s is being treated in Dublin's Mater Hospital after he was discovered lying in the street with head injuries.

The injured man was found on Sean McDermott Street, in the north inner city, shortly after 1am.

Gardai are currently investigating how he received his head injuries.
