Bush backs British stance on decommissioning

US President George W Bush has reiterated his support for the British

Government's stance on IRA decommissioning.

President Bush said he is ready to help in any way he can in the peace process.

Mr Bush was speaking after a meeting with Mr Blair at the end of the first day of his two-day visit to Britain, ahead of this weekend's G 8 summit in Genoa.
