The leader of the Progressive Unionist Party, David Ervine has confirmed that he will not be attending next Friday’s talks aimed at salvaging the Good Friday Agreement.

The talks were suspended yesterday because Unionist delegates wanted to return to the North to celebrate July 12, but they are due to reconvene at the British midlands venue tomorrow.
