An 18-year-old man is recovering in hospital today after he was shot in the back of one of his legs in a punishment style attack in Derry last night.

An 18-year-old man is recovering in hospital today after he was shot in the back of one of his legs in a punishment style attack in Derry last night.

The RUC have confirmed that they are investigating the incident, which occurred at about 6:30pm last night at Killfennin Country Park in Derry City.
