Second Tesco strike on Thursday

SIPTU and Mandate, the two unions representing 9,500 workers at Tesco, say a second 24-hour strike at the company's 76 branches nationwide will go ahead on Thursday.

SIPTU and Mandate, the two unions representing 9,500 workers at Tesco, say a second 24-hour strike at the company's 76 branches nationwide will go ahead on Thursday.

In a joint statement, the unions said they have received no proposals from Tesco following talks at the Labour Court last Wednesday.
