Two men charged with Limerick drugs offences
Two men have been charged at a special sitting of the Limerick District Court in connection with a major drugs seizure earlier in the week.
Ecstasy tablets worth an estimated £1m were recovered during a raid on a house outside the city last Tuesday.
The 35-year-old, Michael Shannon from Limerick City and 20-year-old Brian Hanley from Co Clare were charged under the drugs trafficking act with possession of illegal substances with intent to supply.
The two were released on bail and were also told that they must abide by the conditions set by the court, including a curfew order.
