Two still held following Limerick drugs seizure
Two men are still being held by Gardai in Limerick following a major drugs haul in the city.
A consignment worth £1m was made in Meelick, Co Clare - just outside Limerick city yesterday evening.
Gardai said the find was the result of a lengthy operation by the drugs squad and local gardai.
The drugs, believed to be amphetamines and Ecstasy, have been sent for forensic examination.
The men are being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station under the Drugs Trafficking Act.
