Body taken from Cork Harbour named

The body of the man who was pulled from the waters of Cork Harbour yesterday

has been named as that of David O'Mahony, 21, from Passage West in Cork.

He fell into the water in the Glenbrook area in the early hours of yesterday

morning.

Two of his companions who jumped in to try and rescue him had to

be rescued by the Cork lifeguard.

Mr Mahony's body was recovered several hours later, a few hundred yards from where he fell in.
