Carthy sister 'disappointed' at inquiry adjournment

The sister of John Carthy has spoken out against the adjournment of the Dail sub-committee inquiry into the death of her brother.

Marie Carthy renewed her call for an independent judicial inquiry into the actions of the Garda Emergency Response Unit.

"As you can see, there is obstruction as the gardai are unwilling to answer questions about what happened to John," she said. "I'm very disappointed that the inquiry was adjourned."
