Inquiry launched after toddler's death in Kildare

Gardai in Clane, Co Kildare are investigating the suspicious death of a baby overnight.

The 20-month-old toddler was admitted to Naas General Hospital at around 4.30am but later died.

A man has been arrested and is being held under the Criminal Justice Act.
