Former US President Bill Clinton is to visit Belfast next month to receive an honorary degree from Queen's University for his services to peace in the North.

Former US President Bill Clinton is to visit Belfast next month to receive an honorary degree from Queen's University for his services to peace in the North.

Mr Clinton made three trips to the North during his term in an effort to boost the peace process.

Queen's Vice-Chancellor Prof George Bain said Mr Clinton had earned the respect of both traditions in the North and the university was honoured to confer the degree upon him.
