President wishes immigrants a happy St Patricks Day

President Mary McAleese is using her St Patrick’s Day message to welcome the many immigrants who have arrived here to begin a new life.

She points towards the Irish Diaspora as now being one of our greatest strengths although it used to be a problem that afflicted us.
