Toxic fumes reported in Dublin

Gardai have sealed off an area in the centre of Dublin after there were reports of toxic fumes.

The alarm was raised just before 5pm when the smell of petrol or gas was reported in Westmoreland St.

Gardai have now cordoned off the area and traffic diversions are in place as they attempt to detect the source of the fumes.
