Gardai name Co Kerry fire victim

The middle-aged man who died in a house fire in Co Kerry on Thursday has been named as John Herlihy from Annascaul, near Dingle.

A post mortem on the body of 43-year-old Mr Herlihy is due to be carried out today.

Another man who was in the house at the time of the blaze is in a critical condition at Tralee General Hospital.

The fire broke out before 9pm on Thurs night, but the discovery was not made until yesterday morning.
