Gilligan's son arrested

Gardai have arrested John Gilligan's son Darren.

Darren Gilligan was arrested at his home in Dublin yesterday morning, and is being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act.

In his mid-twenties, Gilligan was arrested by gardai in Lucan who under the terms of the Act can hold him for up to three days.
