The independent commission of inquiry into the Dublin, Monaghan and Dundalk bombings has launched an appeal to the public to assist with its investigations into the atrocities.

The commission, established a year ago under the late Chief Justice Liam Hamilton and now under the chairmanship of former Supreme Court judge Henry Barron, has already interviewed up to 20 people.
