260 jobs to go in Dublin

More bad news on the jobs front with the news that Thermo King Corporation is to close its Dublin plant.

This will result in the loss of 260 jobs. Thermo King also has factories in Galway and Shannon.

The company which manufactures temperature control systems for trucks, trailers and sea-going containers, says the move is due to a corporate-wide rationalisation plan to improve efficiency.
