Pedestrians and biker killed in separate accidents

A pedestrian and a teenage motorcyclist died in separate accidents in Roscommon and Dublin yesterday.

The teenager died after his motorbike collided with a car at approximately 1.20pm at the junction of Killbarron Park and Cromcastle Rd in Coolock.

He was brought to Beaumont Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The female driver of the car was also brought to Beaumont Hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.
