TV doc Pixie McKenna to do festival health checks

TV doctor, Pixie McKenna, will be scouring two of Ireland’s top summer festivals for a ‘warts and all’ insight into the health of the nation.

Organisers of the Cork Summer Show confirmed, last night, that the Cork-born, Cambridge-based GP, the presenter of RTÉ’s new TV medicine show, You Should Really See a Doctor

, would have a free pop-up clinic there next month. The event, one of Ireland’s longest-running agricultural shows, will take place the weekend of June 18/19.
