Man interviewed in Anna Ilnicka case

Ms Ilnicka’s ordeal, in which she claims to have been brutally attacked and sexually assaulted in a west of Ireland town, was highlighted by the Irish Examiner last year.
Following the report, a Garda investigation of the case was ordered by Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald. That has been ongoing for the last 12 months and on Tuesday, the man against whom Ms Ilnicka made her allegations was interviewed by gardaí. He attended his local Garda station by appointment.
