Web Summit co-founder Daire Hickey honoured for career

A co-founder of the Web Summit and one of Forbes magazine’s rising young stars has been named Cork Person of the Month for March.

Daire Hickey, from Ballincollig, was selected to mark his nomination by Forbes as one of its international top 30 business stars aged under 30 — a list of some of the world’s most influential young people.

Oscar-nominated Saoirse Ronan was the only other Irish person to make the list.
