Garda commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan yesterday urged people with information regarding the murder of detective garda Adrian Donohoe to “do the right thing” and contact gardaí.

Speaking on the third anniversary of the 41-year-old’s murder outside Lordship Credit Union in Co Louth, the police boss said there were people out there who knew “who the killers are”.

The father-of-two was shot dead by a criminal gang during a botched robbery on the evening of January 25, 2013.
