Event to focus on mental health issues to take place in Waterford

A varied range of speakers will draw on professional and personal experience when they take part in a weekend mental health conference next month.

The guests will address issues such as suicide, depression, self-harm, and substance abuse, from individual, family, peer group and survivor perspectives, as well as explaining how to recognise early health problems and how and where to seek help.

Entitled ‘Supports and Developments in Mental Health Care’, the conference will run for two days at the Park Hotel in Dungarvan, Co Waterford, on the weekend of February 19/20.
