Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man on a housing estate in Kildare.

Jason Doogue, 22, was gunned down by a masked killer on a BMX bicycle in the Greenhills area of Athy on Friday evening.

The victim was rushed to Naas General Hospital for emergency surgery but he was later pronounced dead.
