Further charges in St Patrick’s Day assault case

Each man had already been charged with a number of counts including causing criminal damage to a house at Curraheen Road in Bishopstown on March 17. Several new charges were brought against them yesterday by Detective Garda David Hickey.

There was no objection to bail from the gardaí for the four accused but strict conditions were applied. Those conditions include nightly curfews, staying away from complainants and witnesses, abstaining from intoxicants, staying out of the Bishopstown and Curraheen areas and signing on regularly at Ballincollig Garda Station.
