Sailors to row in for Sovereign’s Cup at Cork regatta

A Co Cork harbour will be awash with sails for a famed racing extravaganza where four national titles will be up for grabs.

Kinsale Yacht Club is to host this year’s Sovereign’s Cup from June 24 to 27 which is expected to boost the local economy by around €750,000.

The ICRA Nationals and Sovereign’s Cup was launched by Marine Minister Simon Coveney who highlighted the importance of marine leisure.
