Kenny accused of ‘talking clap-trap’ and failing people in mortgage arrears
Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin made the charge, saying the Taoiseach was not doing enough to ease mortgage misery and had failed to stand-up to the banks on behalf of ordinary people.
Mr Martin said the fact two-thirds of people in arrears were working indicated banks were being too harsh on those in debt and not cutting effective deals with them.
