Guilty plea to ‘Guilty’ crime

A 24-year-old man with a number of previous convictions pleaded guilty yesterday to stealing a bottle of Gucci Guilty perfume from a Waterville pharmacy.

Denis O’Brien, of Hazelwood Drive, Killarney, “threw” €10 on the counter and said he’d be back with the rest.

He had made no reply when arrested and charged with the October 29 theft of the €42 bottle of Gucci Guilty perfume at Waterville pharmacy, the District Court in Cahersiveen was told.
