‘High-risk’ sex offender arrested

A “high-risk” sex offender who posed as a talent agent was arrested on Thursday in Tralee for failing to comply with registration requirements.

The convicted sex offender — who used a number of aliases — was due to begin judging auditions for a talent show in Cork City this week.

The 33-year-old was branded a “high-risk” case by a UK judge after he was caught having downloaded explicit material featuring adults having sex with boys under 12.
