Senator Paul Bradford likely to contest general election

Independent Senator Paul Bradford says it is “very possible” he will contest a seat in the next general election for his wife Lucinda Creighton’s new party.

Senator Bradford said a number of people have been in contact with the yet-to-be-named party to express an interest in running in his native Cork East constituency.

“Yes, I am interested, but we are inviting people from all over the country to get involved.
