Overcrowding in hospital emergency departments (ED) is a major concern for doctors making plans to deal with suspected ebola cases.

Ebola contingency planning fears over A&E overcrowding

Mark Doyle, president of the Irish Association for Emergency Medicine, said his organisation insists all hospitals have separate receiving rooms for potential ebola cases.

Mr Doyle, a consultant in emergency medicine at Waterford Regional Hospital, said there was particular concern because of crowded EDs.
