Jenny walking on air over Denver Balloon Convention

She opened her balloon business, Red Balloon Cork, in 2009.
Among the events Ms Murphy is participating in, is a large sculpture competition, which begins today in advance of the official opening.
It involves participants working in rotas as part of a team to create a 20ft by 20ft balloon sculpture over the course of 27 hours.
Tomorrow, she will work alone in the centrepiece display competition, and although the competition details reportedly remain top secret, the display involves framing and blowing up over 30,000 balloons of different colours and sizes.
More than 900 balloon professionals from around the world are expected to attend the five-day convention in the state of Colorado which continues until Sunday.
It features design, product, and business classes, as well as nine different balloon competitions.
Ms Murphy said she was “super-excited” about going to the Denver convention and hopes to pick up lots of new tips and skills.
“It will be great fun, but a lot of hard work. You are pushed to your limit in what you do,” she said. “The classes start from 7am and some run to 8pm so it’s a very intensive day.
“I also know a lot of people attending, who I met at a balloon event last year, so I’m looking forward to meeting them all again.”
It’s the second time she will be flying the Irish flag at an international balloon sculpture event.
Last year’s event in Missouri saw Jenny compete in a 20,000-plus balloon sculpture, entitled Under the Sea.
