President Michael D Higgins has described as “horrific” the denial of basic information from adopted people and called on the State to act on adoption rights.

2. Neil Francis:

Rugby pundit Neil Francis has apologised for comments made on Sunday regarding gay people in sport. “It’s unusual for me not to be able to articulate myself, but on this occasion I was unable to do so,” the former Irish international said.
