More than two thirds of primary school children get help with their homework from their parents every day.

However, figures from the CSO also show that 4% never get any parental help with their homework.

The report found that 13% of secondary school children are helped with their homework on a daily basis by their parents, but more than a quarter (28%) get no help from them.
