Ray ‘losing sleep’ over big day speech

Radio star Ray D’Arcy has poured cold water on signing a magazine deal for his upcoming wedding, but revealed he had considered inviting listeners along to his big day later this year.

The 48-year-old is set to wed co-host and producer Jenny Kelly, after popping the question with the help of their six-year-old daughter Kate at Christmas. Jenny gave birth to the couple’s son Tom in June.

The Today FM host said he had briefly considered inviting along some of the show’s loyal listeners, after receiving cheeky requests for invites. “The thought did cross my mind. I didn’t share it with Jenny and then commonsense prevailed.
