Psychiatric report ordered on double murder accused

A solicitor representing a man charged with a double murder yesterday asked for a psychiatric report to be provided in respect of his client.

Aurimas Andruska, aged 26, a Lithuanian national with an address at 7 Ardmoniel Heights, Killorglin, Co Kerry, made a second court appearance on charges connected with the killing of a Lithuanian woman and her young daughter in a Killorglin housing estate, on Jun 15.

He was previously charged on Friday night with the murder of Jolanta Lubiene, aged 27, at Langford Downs, Killorglin, and with the unlawful killing of Enrika Lubyte, aged 8, at the same address on the same date.
