Murder probe after body found in Tallaght

Gardaí have launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of a man’s body in a field in Tallaght on Saturday night.

A member of the public came across the remains in overgrown waste ground near a housing estate at Killinarden Hill near the foothills of the Dublin Mountains at around 9pm.

The body had been mutilated by wild animals.
