Labour grassroots members will be unable to vent their anger to the leadership about issues at the party’s conference until after this year’s budget.

The party’s 12-person national executive met yesterday and agreed to host the conference on Nov 29-30.

This means Eamon Gilmore and other Labour ministers will plan this year’s budget without any input from ordinary members.
