Tough new rules required to tackle GAA indiscipline, says Brennan

Writing in today’s Irish Examiner, former GAA president Nickey Brennan said that while the issue of ill-discipline was relatively small compared to the number of games played, there had been a number of “heinous” incidents in the recent past.

Mr Brennan said that although the disciplinary process was fair, the rules needed to be updated to deal with “a plethora of heinous incidents which are disgusting, disrespectful and downright ignorant”.
