HSE set to extend JobBridge scheme

The HSE plans to significantly ramp up its use of the State’s JobBridge scheme — at a time when it is creating five €158,000 top-level posts.

Figures obtained by the Irish Examiner under the Freedom of Information Act show that — regardless of the ongoing nurse graduate jobs row — 192 positions will be filled through the controversial plan in 2013.

The figure is almost double the 103 places provided in the first three years of the JobBridge initiative.
