‘Everything is just destroyed again — for the fourth time’

It was all too familiar for Hannah and Noel O’Driscoll waking in the early hours to the water coming into the ground floor of their Blackpool home.

It is the fourth time in a decade that their three- storey Cork City Council house has been affected by localised flooding. The first two happened within six days of each other in late 2002, and another in January 2010.
