Two men received multiple stab wounds when a row broke out in a house in Cork City early yesterday.

Superintendent Barry McPolin, who is leading the investigation, said gardaí received a call that a fight had broken out at a house at St Joseph’s Villas, near Ashton Comprehensive School on the Blackrock Road, at 1.47am.

Gardaí found four people in the house, two of whom had been stabbed.
