Airport ‘will never get transatlantic flights under DAA control’
The CBA has expressed disappointment with the Booz report’s recommendations on the future of Cork Airport, re-iterating its belief the airport must be fully separated from the DAA if it is to meet its potential.
The Booz & report, which was published on Wednesday, was prepared by the global management consultancy for Leo Varadkar, the transport minister. He will use the report to decide the future of Shannon Airport before Easter, while Cork and Dublin’s future will be mapped out by year’s end.
