Gardaí to mount speed checks at N25 roundabouts

GARDAÍ are to mount speed checks at two busy roundabouts in Cork which are at the centre of a multi- million euro road-building project.

Speed checks at the Bandon and Sarsfield Road roundabouts will be increased in the run-up to Christmas to ensure the safe operation of new pedestrian crossing facilities.

Major traffic restrictions and reduced speed limits have been introduced at both sites as part of the N25 double flyover project.
