Flatley to help drive sick children’s Christmas treat

MORE than 240 seriously ill children are set to see their Christmas wish come true next week when they are chauffeur-driven to meet Santa and receive a framed photograph of their special day.

Flatley to help drive sick children’s Christmas treat

As part of an annual HSE event supported by Riverdance star Michael Flatley and the Irish Examiner, young patients from Cork University Hospital, the Mercy University Hospital and other vital groups will be given the chance to meet ‘St Nicholas in person.

Those who are invited will be chauffeured to Fota House in an array of vintage cars owned by Mr Flatley, who has donated a Rolls Royce, Mini Coopers and stretch limousines for the December 1 and 2 events.
